Job summary

Fountain Tire Edmonton Heritage (2119 110 St NW) is seeking a reliable Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires, while also handling TPMS and maintaining equipment in a safe, efficient shop environment.

Qualifications

Must have at least 3 years of experience in the automotive/tire industry.
Must be able to work Saturdays.
A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset.
A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers.
A keen attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
Maintain tire service equipment on a regular maintenance schedule.
Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run-flat, nitrogen, etc.).
Assist in inventory management through documentation and annual counts.
Ensure safety for yourself and coworkers.
