Job summary

Fountain Tire Edmonton Heritage (2119 110 St NW) is seeking a reliable Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires, while also handling TPMS and maintaining equipment in a safe, efficient shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the automotive/tire industry.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset.
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers.
• A keen attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular maintenance schedule.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run-flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and annual counts.
• Ensure safety for yourself and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Edmonton Heritage (2119 110 St NW), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
