Job summary

Fountain Tire Edmonton (Callingwood) is seeking a responsible, motivated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician. You will play a hands‑on role in installing, balancing, and repairing tires, while ensuring safety and excellent service for customers.

Qualifications

• Prior tire/automotive experience is a plus.
• Willing to train motivated individuals.
• Good customer-service focus and communication skills.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires is an asset.
• Ability to lift 25 kg safely.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset TPMS and maintain tire service equipment on a schedule.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run‑flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and teammates.

Fountain Tire Edmonton (Callingwood) is looking for a responsible, safe, and motivated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basisCompleting specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous tire/automotive experience would be great, however we are willing to train positive and motivated individuals
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
