Job summary

The Salvation Army View Royal Thrift Store is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to support daily thrift store operations in View Royal, BC. You will provide friendly customer service, process transactions, and help manage donations and inventory while ensuring a clean, organized sales floor.

You will assist with stocking, pricing, and merchandising, help with opening/closing procedures, and uphold OH&S and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs on a frequent basis.
• Attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and donors in a positive, courteous manner.
• Handle cash and debit transactions accurately.
• Process and price donations; stock and display merchandise.
• Maintain store layout and displays; restock shelves.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and store cleanliness.
• Support the Store Manager in daily operations and training.
