Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of some high school coursework or equivalent.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Willingness to support Salvation Army mission and health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers/donors in a positive, friendly manner.
• Contribute to meeting store sales targets and provide courteous customer service.
• Process donations, sort and price items, and maintain store organization and display aesthetics.
• Operate cash register with accuracy and minimal voids or shortages.
• Ensure compliance with store policies on payments, refunds, and stock control.
• Assist with inventory, window and merchandise displays, and safety procedures.
