Job summary

The Salvation Army Moose Jaw Thrift Store is seeking a permanent part-time associate to support daily retail operations. You will greet customers, process donations, manage transactions, assist with pricing, and help maintain a safe, organized sales floor.

The role requires a few months of cash-handling and customer service experience, willingness to learn, basic high school coursework, and the ability to lift up to 29 lbs.

Qualifications

• Completion of some high school coursework is preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience are required.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors in a friendly manner.
• Process donations, manage pricing, and assist with in-store merchandising.
• Handle cash and debit transactions accurately with minimal errors.
• Maintain orderly shelves, assist with stocking and inventory control.
• Adhere to health, safety, and store policies; operate in a safe, respectful manner.
