Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a motivated Thrift Store Associate to join our frontline team. You will warmly greet customers and donors, process transactions, and help sort and price donated goods for store presentation.

You will assist with daily operations, maintain accurate cash handling, and help keep the store clean, safe, and inviting for shoppers and volunteers alike, in compliance with OH&S policies.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is required.
• Willingness to support The Salvation Army mission.
• Ability to lift up to 29 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors in a positive manner.
• Process transactions accurately with cash and debit.
• Sort incoming donations and maintain stock on the floor.
• Assist with store layout, displays, and merchandising.
