Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Winnipeg is seeking a permanent part-time associate to support customer service, sort donations, and assist in daily retail operations. Qualifications

• Experience in processing or distribution of goods or customer service preferred.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and POS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers/donors in a positive, friendly manner.
• Assist with donation processing, sorting, pricing and stocking of merchandise.
• Process cash and debit transactions with accuracy and minimal voids.
• Maintain store opening/closing procedures and store cleanliness.
• Provide safe, courteous customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Support layout and display planning to attract customers.
