Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven professional for the role of Thermal Operating Technician at our Lennox facility in Bath, Ontario.
Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Engineer and the Thermal Operating Supervisor/Shift Engineer, the Thermal Operating Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and reporting activities related to high-pressure boilers and turbo-alternator units to ensure compliance with station procedures and regulations. This role primarily involves rotating shifts.
The Thermal Operating Technician may also perform functions as an Assistant Shift Engineer as defined by Operating Engineers Regulation when required.
