Job summary

Cineplex in Winnipeg, Canada is seeking a Theatre Manager to lead Back of House operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will ensure compliance with company policies, manage Amusement, Food & Beverage, Guest Service and Retail, and drive the venue's business vision.

You will recruit, train and coach venue management, oversee events, manage the budget, grow revenue and build strong relationships with corporate partners, employees and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to analyze and interpret customer needs and offer appropriate options, solutions and resolutions.
• Proven ability to lead a team during high volume periods across multiple departments.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities while developing staff and meeting financial targets and reporting duties.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation and objection handling skills.
• Able to build and maintain relationships with corporate departments, partners, employees and guests.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain seamless operation of Amusement, Food & Beverage, Guest Service and Retail within the venue.
• Ensure the facility reflects Cineplex standards and complies with internal and regulatory checklists.
• Execute Groups & Events within the venue.
• Recruit, interview, train, and coach venue management and plan for succession.
• Manage theatre budget, drive revenue growth and advance Cineplex’s business objectives.
