Job summary

Cineplex is seeking a Theatre Manager in Canada to oversee the seamless operation of all venue services, including Amusement, F&B, Guest Services and Retail. You will uphold company standards, coordinate Groups & Events, and lead a multi-department team through peak periods.

You will recruit, train, and develop venue management, enforce policy-based discipline, and drive revenue while strengthening Cineplex’s reputation as a premier entertainment company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar theatre/entertainment environment.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and propose solutions.
• Proven experience leading teams across multiple departments during peak periods.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting financial targets and reporting.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills.
• Excellent relationship-building with corporate departments, partners, employees and guests.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain seamless operation of Amusement, Food & Beverage, Guest Service and Retail across the venue.
• Ensure facility reflects Cineplex standards and pass internal/external checks.
• Execute Groups & Events within the venue.
• Recruit, interview, train, and coach venue management; plan succession.
• Enforce discipline per policy and manage performance and behavior issues.
• Manage theatre budget, grow revenue, and drive business forward.
