Job summary

DMC Recruitment Group in Edmonton, AB is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to own and grow a defined territory, working closely with contractors, builders and industry partners to deliver solutions and drive revenue.

You will conduct in-person visits across the territory, provide pricing and tailored proposals, and collaborate with inside sales and operations to ensure seamless execution while tracking your pipeline with a CRM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in building materials or construction.
• Proven ability to grow a territory through relationship management and new business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing book of business while identifying new opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with contractors, builders and decision-makers.
• Conduct in-person customer visits across the territory.
• Provide product recommendations, pricing, and tailored solutions.
• Prepare and deliver professional quotes and proposals.
• Collaborate with inside sales, operations and logistics teams to ensure execution.
• Stay on top of market trends, competitor activity, and pricing intelligence.
• Track activity, pipeline, and performance metrics through CRM/reporting tools.
• Support customer issue resolution and ensure a high level of service post-sale.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer engagement initiatives.
