Job summary

Fluke is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Toronto, Ontario. Job description

1.Assess business conditions by geography, distributor, and end customer opportunity.

2.Participate in defining and refining national plans, programs, and opportunities to grow the business.

3.Track funnel opportunities in an accurate and timely fashion in CRM.

4.Manage large key accounts, sometimes National, or even Multinational.

5.Meet with top-tier distributors at a minimum once per quarter to develop an understanding of their business strategies. Coordinate senior-level executive visits once a year.

6.Initiate regular contact with distributors to request orders to ensure adequate stock, new product information, and policies.

7.Work with the Sales team to set up new authorized distributor locations and follow up on stocking orders.

8.Work with the Sales team to tailor promotions to distributor’s branches.

9.Problem solves ongoing field-related issues.

Education / experience :

  • Engineering or comparable degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years experience in a related sales role, technical sales experience is a nice to have.
  • Communicate effectively with customers.
  • Ability to operate independently to achieve goals working in a fast-paced multidimensional environment requiring time management, creativity, and independent judgment.
  • Skilled use in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Teams, and a CRM platform.
  • Must live within the territory of Ontario.
  • Bilingualism - French and English is an asset.

JOB CONDITIONS : Frequent travel and extended hours as required.
