As a Territory Manager for our Therma-Tru brand, you'll have the opportunity to grow top-line sales within the Manitoba, Atlantic Maritimes, and Ontario territories. You will cultivate relationships with key and prospective distributor accounts to drive sales growth. The Territory Manager acts as the primary contact, establishing and maintaining relationships with key personnel within customers’ and prospects’ organizations, including executives, purchasing, construction, sales, architecture, design, and finance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in selling and knowledge of doors and building materials, be highly autonomous, and able to travel overnight approximately 4-6 nights a month. A background in growing and maintaining relationships through high-touch communication and knowledge sharing is essential.

This remote position is based in the Toronto, ON area. The salary range is from $98,000 CAD to $146,000 CAD, with a bonus opportunity based on territory performance.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Develop business plans and targets for market and channel growth within the assigned territory.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and focus on cultivating new relationships with distributors, dealers, and builders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for escalation of issues by customer accounts and Segment Managers/Specialists.
  • Collaborate on market pricing, product development, and competitor information with relevant teams.
  • Communicate and train customers on TT products and value-added services.
  • Present and implement marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs.
  • Assist in resolving service issues with the Customer Service Group.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as activity reports, opportunities, and expenses promptly.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer and prospect database.
  • Attend trade shows as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This role also involves representing Fypon and Larson brands.
Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5-7 years of direct sales experience in the building products industry
  • Experience calling on distributors, dealers, builders, and contractors
  • Excellent communication skills—written, one-on-one, and presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience with multi-step distribution channels
  • Experience with sales forecasting
