Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a Territory Manager - Rentals for the Surrey Construction & Forestry location. You will develop new customer relationships while growing existing accounts with consultative rental solutions that meet jobsite needs.

The role emphasizes prospecting, closing, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, with travel within the territory and collaboration across Brandt Group to ensure exceptional service and equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Proven success in outside sales and account growth.
• Strong understanding of construction equipment and jobsite operations.
• Demonstrated prospecting and closing abilities to grow accounts.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory and possess a valid passport.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned territory and customer portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers across Brandt Group of Companies.
• Proactively prospect and develop new business through outbound calls, site visits and networking.
• Create daily and weekly customer visit plans and conduct regular in-person jobsite meetings.
• Prepare sales action plans to expand wallet share within existing accounts.
• Recommend equipment solutions based on customer job requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Generate quotes, manage equipment availability, and coordinate rentals.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, coordinating internally on service, billing, and logistics.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity, opportunities, and pipeline in the CRM.
• Participate in industry associations, trade shows, and local networking events.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and activity metrics.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Submit expense accounts timely and in accordance with company policy
