Job summary

GardaWorld seeks a Tactical Security Guard for a temporary assignment in Brantford, Ontario. You will patrol diverse environments, read situations quickly, and enforce safety protocols while coordinating with law enforcement when needed.

Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in Canada, hold a valid security license, and possess First aid certification. The role offers rapid training via GardaWorld Academy and flexible shifts, with opportunities for growth and both full-time and

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in Canada and valid security license required.
• First aid certification required.
• At least 1 year of security industry experience.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Pass Advanced Use of Force Training Course.
• Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Community outreach with vulnerable populations.
• Enforce the Trespass to Property Act.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as Government Buildings, Sports Facilities, Retail Environments , Secure Facilities, etc.

Shift Timings: (Temporary 6-8 weeks) Continental night rotation

Location: N3S 0J9
