Job summary

GardaWorld in Brantford, Ontario is seeking a Tactical Security Mobile Guard to patrol government and facility sites, deter threats and document actions taken. You’ll enforce access controls, respond to incidents and work closely with local authorities when needed.

Ideal candidates are authorized to work in Canada, hold a valid security license, and can pass the Advanced Use of Force training. The role offers weekend shifts, full-time or part-time options, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification.
• Ful G or G-2 drivers license.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Able to pass an Advanced Use of Force Training Course.
• Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Community outreach with vulnerable populations.
• Enforcement of the Trespass to Property Act.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as Government Buildings, Sports Facilities, Retail Environments , Secure Facilities, etc.

Shift Timings: Saturdays and Sundays 16:00 – 00:00

Location: Brantford
