GardaWorld seeks a Tactical Security Guard (Casual) in Brantford, Ontario. You will patrol diverse sites, monitor access, and respond to incidents, with opportunities for uniformed roles and development through GardaWorld Academy.

Ideal candidates are authorized to work in Canada, hold a security license, and can pass advanced training. Flexible shifts, full-time/part-time options, and career growth await in a dynamic security services environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification is required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Able to pass Advanced Use of Force Training Course.
• Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Community outreach with vulnerable populations.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as Government Buildings, Sports Facilities, Retail Environments , Secure Facilities, etc.

Location: Brantford Region

Pay Rate: $20.60/hr
