Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard in Ontario, Canada. The role involves patrolling various environments, checking IDs, and responding to incidents. Must be able to work a rotating schedule (days/nights) and hold a valid security license with a full G Ontario driver\'s license and clean abstract.

First aid certification is required. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, uniform provided, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• Full G Ontario driver\'s license and clean driver\'s abstract.
• 1 year of security industry and/or equivalent education background preferred.
• First aid certification required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Schedule- Casual leading Full-time (Combination of days and nights. Must be able to work 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off continental rotation. 0600-1800/ 1800-0600 or 0530-1730/1730-0530)

Location- L8R 3M8
