Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard in Trenton, Ontario, to provide a safe environment for clients, staff and visitors. The role requires strong security presence, clear communication, sound judgment, and quick response to incidents.

Starting pay rate is $19.31/hour. Schedule is full-time with continental rotation (two weeks days, two weeks nights). Uniform provided. GardaWorld offers benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Ability to pass Use of Force and NVCI.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of people and property.
• Provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors.
• Enforce safety procedures and standards.
• Escort and assist staff/visitors as needed.
• Intervene during an emergency or crisis.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment.
• Be able to work well in stressful settings.

GardaWorld is seeking highly motivated and professional Tactical Security Guards to provide a safe and secure environment for clients, visitors, staff, and the public.

This role requires a strong security presence, excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

Starting Pay Rate: $19.31/Hour

Schedule: FULL TIME continental rotation; two weeks days then two weeks nights.

Shift Timings: 08:00-20:00 (nights) & 20:00-08:00 (days)
