Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking Tactical Security Guards in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The role involves patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and security facility centers, leveraging keen observation and communication skills to deter risk and respond to incidents.

Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada, hold a valid security license, and have First Aid certification. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with uniform provided and access to GardaWorld

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

• Days and Afternoon Shifts, with varying schedules; however, 40 hours per week are guaranteed.
