Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience one-on-one and small-group support in inclusive classrooms.
• Ability to build relationships with students and staff.
• Experience with diverse learning needs and physical challenges.
• Experience collaborating with a Learning Support Team.
• NVCI and/or SIVA training is an asset.
• EA certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of American Sign Language and/or Assistive Technology is an asset.
• Physically fit to meet demands of diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide child support in an inclusive setting, one-on-one or in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers and Learning Support Team to implement supports.
• Assist with student-centered learning and behavior strategies where appropriate.
