Job summary

Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is seeking an Education Assistant to support Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lethbridge. This temporary 28-hour-per-week role begins as soon as possible and ends June 25, 2027.

The position is covered by CUPE 1825 and offers a comprehensive benefit package. The Education Assistant will work under the supervision of the Inclusive Education Lead, the classroom teacher, and the principal to support students with diverse needs and foster a confidential,

Qualifications

• Education Assistant Certificate or Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with students with special programming needs.
• Brain Story Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support children with a wide range of needs in the learning environment.
• Work under the supervision of the Inclusive Education Lead, the classroom teacher and the principal.
• Meet the physical demands and actively engage students in educational activities.
