Job summary

CLAIRMONT COMMUNITY SCHOOL in Alberta is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Educational Assistant (13.17 hours/week). The Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certificated teacher and supports student learning in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma (Educational Assistant Diploma preferred) and ability to perform physical tasks and assist with personal care. Applications require a profile, resume and three references, with a current Criminal Record

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Educational Assistant Diploma preferred.
CPR/First Aid asset.
Experience with children in classroom/organized setting preferred.
Ability to perform required physical tasks and assist with personal care.
Willingness to meet outside of school hours.
Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Supports certificated teacher in delivering instruction and supervision.
Assists with personal care and physical tasks as needed.
Works collaboratively with students and staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
