Job summary

Wolfcreek is seeking a Full-time Educational Assistant to support diverse learners in a one-on-one setting, small groups, and within the classroom. Duties begin October 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., at a school in the City of Lacombe, Alberta. We value teamwork, effective communication, and experience with complex needs to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy background is considered an asset.
• Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment.
• Experience working with students with complex needs.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality.
• Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation.
• Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs.
