Job summary

Under the direction of the classroom teacher, you will provide individualized support to learners across grades 5–9 and help create an inclusive, caring classroom.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma/Certificate.
• Experience supporting students with Autism or behavioural needs.
• CPR and First Aid.
• Training or experience in behaviour support, TCIS, developmental and emotional regulation strategies.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility, patience, and a student-centred approach.
• Equivalencies combining education, knowledge, and experience may be considered.
• Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector check.
