Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive academic training and professional teaching qualifications for all areas of the assignment.
• Knowledge of BC Ministry of Education philosophy, practices, and assessment procedures.
• Ability to plan and teach all required subjects for grades 3/4 split.
• Experience delivering literacy and numeracy instruction with targeted small groups.
• Commitment to collaborative teaching and outdoor learning initiatives.
• Ability to use district data sets to drive instruction and planning.
• Experience with First Peoples Principles of Learning and trauma-informed practices.
• Capacity to support diverse learners through RTI and CBIEP approaches.
• Strong classroom management and Positive Behaviour and Support familiarity is an asset.
