Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking a Temporary Full Time Security Guard for Hino Motors Canada in Ontario. The role covers monitoring the facility, responding to alarms, and ensuring safety during production and warehousing operations.

You must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard license, First Aid & CPR Level C, have reliable personal vehicle, and be fluent in English; legal right to work in Canada is required. Overtime via Averaging Agreement after 88 hours; compensation includes $20/hr base plus $3

Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility and personnel, contractors, and vehicles
• Conduct exterior patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeter
• Ensure security systems and safety measures function properly
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly
• De-escalate conflicts and liaise with police, fire, and paramedics as needed
• Document incidents and facility concerns accurately
• Provide First Aid and medical response when required
• Maintain relationships with client staff and partners

Temporary Full Time Security Guard - Hino Motors

Hino Motors Canada is an industrial manufacturing and assembly facility supporting large-scale production, warehousing, and distribution operations. With continuous movement of employees, contractors, vendors, and transport trucks, the facility requires adherence to strict safety standards, and coordinated site operations to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing processes.

Position:

Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6PM to 6AM)

Pay Rate: $20/hr plus an additional $3.00 per hour for the use of a personal vehicle.

Posting Date: October 15, 2026

Internal Closing Date: October 22, 2026

External Closing Date: November 15, 2026

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the facility, including employees, contractors, and commercial vehicles
• Conduct proactive exterior patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter fencing
• Ensure all security systems and safety measures are functioning properly
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• De-escalate conflicts and liaise with police, fire, and paramedic services as needed
• Document incidents, policy breaches, and facility concerns accurately and thoroughly
• Provide First Aid and medical response when required
• Maintain professional and constructive relationships with client representatives, staff, and external partners

Prerequisites:

• Valid Security Guard License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved provider
• Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle, as it is a mandatory requirement to perform the duties
• English fluency (oral and written) is required
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Applicants who do not possess Use of Force (UOF) / Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification may opt into Paladin’s certification program prior to onboarding to meet position requirements.

Please note: The UOF/MOAB certification is a pre-employment requirement and is unpaid; however, Paladin will cover the full cost of certification with a six-month commitment to the position and availability
