Job summary

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dynamic and organized professional to join the Events Team as Event Sales Coordinator for a three-month temporary term. This role supports the successful delivery of high-quality meetings and events while creating exceptional experience for clients and guests.

The Event Sales Coordinator works closely with Event Sales Managers, handling contract reviews, client inquiries, and account servicing, while coordinating banquet food, beverage and setup requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hotel/events background is preferred.
• Event planning experience is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless event service from planning to post-event follow-up.
• Support Event Sales Managers with contract negotiations and inquiries.
• Coordinate banquet food, beverage and setup requirements for flawless execution.
• Translate client needs into menus, agendas and service plans.
• Lead site inspections and participate in event and staff meetings.
