Canfor is seeking a Temporary Operations Recruitment Advisor to lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly production roles across Alberta, based out of the Spruceland Site in Acheson, AB. The role partners with Hiring Managers and HR to build talent pipelines and implement sourcing strategies.

The position emphasizes creative sourcing, use of recruitment technology, and compliance with employment legislation while delivering business-focused hiring outcomes.

Formación

• 3+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven success recruiting hard-to-fill roles and developing creative sourcing strategies.
• Experience partnering with Hiring Managers and HR as a trusted recruitment advisor.
• Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruitment technology.
• Experience recruiting in manufacturing or multi-site environments is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly production positions, from intake and sourcing through selection and offer.
• Build proactive talent pipelines and develop sourcing strategies.
• Conduct candidate screens, interviews, assessments, and background checks.
• Present qualified candidates and provide hiring recommendations.
• Advise leaders on candidate availability and labour market conditions.
• Support recruitment projects, process improvements, and best-practice sharing.
