Job summary

Trans Mountain Corporation is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to support the West Coast Oil Pipeline project. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role leads full-cycle recruitment across Alberta and British Columbia, building strong relationships with project leaders.

You will source candidates, manage ATS with a focus on timely delivery, participate in career events, and advise on inclusive hiring practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience in recruitment for major projects would be an asset.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end, full-cycle recruitment to support the volume hiring across Alberta and BC.
• Conduct intake discussions with hiring leaders to tailor recruitment strategy.
• Develop and refine job postings to accurately reflect the position under recruitment.
• Actively source candidates and build talent pipelines via job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.
• Manage job requisitions within the ATS, including reporting and timely advancement through processes.
• Assess and interview qualified candidates using various recruiting tools and techniques.
• Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Provide strategic counsel to hiring leaders on selection decisions and inclusive hiring practices.
• Coordinate pre-employment screening and onboarding activities.
• Advise on the effectiveness of recruiting efforts and reporting to HR.
• Participate in career fairs and industry events to attract talent.
