Job summary

Whistler Personnel Solutions seeks enthusiastic individuals for Event Installation Crew in Whistler. You will participate in the setup and takedown of a large weekend event across multiple venues, including unloading gear and arranging decor.

Expect friendly, hard-working teammates, the ability to lift and move items, and a willingness to pitch in as needed. Compensation includes $20–$26/hr plus a $6/hr bonus and 4% vacation pay.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required.
• All black attire for events.
• Physically able to lift heavy loads and stay on your feet during shifts.
• Steel toe boots not required but recommended for higher pay.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up and takedown of a large event across Whistler venues.
• Unload/load event gear and arrange decor items (backdrops, tables, drapes, florals).
• Move furniture and help position seating and equipment as needed.

Be part of the action and join in on August’s big event in Whistler! We need enthusiastic people to help with the installation of the event decor and general set up/takedown this weekend, and you can earn yourself an awesome bonus while you’re at it!

Event installation Crew are the foundation of every Sea-to-Sky event’s success! Without you working temp shifts, these amazing events wouldn’t happen, so get involved and sign-up to earn great wages on your own schedule!

• POSITIONS: Event Installation Crew

• DATES: Sunday 16th August

• DUTIES: Assisting with the set up and take down of a large event over multiple venues within Whistler. Duties may include unloading and loading of event gear, setting up decor such as tradeshow backdrops, tablecloths, drapes, floral arrangements, and placing chairs. Moving furniture such as tables and chair, some lifting to be expected, and pitching in where needed..

• HOURS: 7.30pm-2am

• LOCATION: Fairmont, Whistler

• SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Experience preferred but NOT required. All black attire. Friendly, hard working, and willing to pitch in where needed. Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads and stay on your feet for the duration of the shift. Steel toe boots not required but recommended for a higher wage!

• WAGE: $20-$26/hr + $6/hr BONUS + 4% vacation pay
  • Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on the number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!

  • PROBY (Tier 1) = $20/hr to start
  • REGULAR (Tier 2) = $22/hr after 10 successful shifts
  • HERO (Tier 3) = $24/hr after 20 successful shifts
  • +$6/hr Superhero bonus in addition to the wages above!

  • PROBY (Tier 1) = $22/hr to start
  • REGULAR (Tier 2) = $24/hr after 10 successful shifts
  • HERO (Tier 3) = $26/hr after 20 successful shifts

Successful Shifts = be on time, work hard and make our clients happy. These can be in any temp position with Whistler Personnel.
