Job summary

Apex Utilities Inc. is seeking a Temporary Customer Care Representative in Leduc, AB, to join our Corporate Services & Stakeholder Relations team. The contract is up to 12 months with shifts between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. as a full-time, unionized position.

The role centers on handling inquiries, dispatching service orders, and maintaining records while providing after-hours on-call coverage. Wages are CAD 34.49–36.91 per hour.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary certificate in a related field.
• Two years' call center experience required.
• Specific call center agent or customer service training.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to telephone calls, inquiries from customers and agencies.
• Generate and dispatch service orders to field personnel.
• Record customer comments, feedback, and payment arrangements in the system.
• Receive and process natural gas emergency calls from customers and emergency services.
• Maintain relationships with Settlement, Band and Reserve administration.
• Maintain call-answer levels to meet Alberta Utilities Commission requirements.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage.
