Job summary

Staples Canada in Burlington, Canada is seeking a retail associate to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales across furniture, technology and supplies, and maintain store standards. You will work with store leaders to set sales and margin goals and ensure smooth operations.

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
