Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Technologist, Quality Assurance in Dorval, Canada to contribute to document management within aerospace operations. You will manage documentation according to standards, maintain filing and retention schedules, and ensure records are organized, audited and archived in compliance with regulations.

The role requires a college diploma with 1 year in aeronautics or documentation management, fluent FR/EN, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks relating to management of documentation from defined standards and processes.
• Participate in implementation and updating of document filing plans and retention schedules.
• Organize, audit and archive records.
• Follow aviation regulations and internal processes for document management.
• Use the classification plan and retention schedule for indexing and coding documents.
• Prepare content boxes for transfer to archives and audit contents.
• Check conformity of boxes and arrange/classify per system; assist in lifting boxes of documents.

What are your contributions to the team?

• You will carry out, from defined standards and processes, various tasks relating to the management of documentation
• You will participate in the implementation and updating of document filing plans and the retention schedule
• You will organize, audit and archive records
• You will follow aviation regulations as well as internal processes related to document management
• You will use the classification plan as well as the retention schedule allowing the identification, indexing, codification, classification of documents according to established standards
• You will prepare or participate in the preparation of the contents of the boxes for their transfer to the filing of documents in the archives, purifies the contents, identifies, classifies the documents, audit records.
• You will check the conformity of the boxes, arrange, and classify the boxes according to the established system; and is called upon to lift boxes of documents
