Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Job Analyst Sr, Quality Assurance to lead and coordinate quality assurance initiatives at our Canadian Administrative Centre in Dorval. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, and Service teams.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering degree or equivalent, with a minimum of eight years in QA and project management within regulated environments, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years in Quality Assurance and Project Management within manufacturing or highly regulated environments.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and change management skills.
• Solid understanding of quality standards and requirements, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite; SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Autonomy, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute continuous improvement projects related to quality.
• Monitor project schedules, risks, deliverables, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Service teams to deploy quality improvements.
• Analyze non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in change management to mitigate operational and quality risks.
• Develop, track, and present quality performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Act as SME and coach in quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, risk analysis).
• Support maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in compliance with regulatory requirements.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Plan, coordinate, and execute continuous improvement projects related to quality.

• Support the maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Facilitate complex problem-solving activities and continuous improvement workshops with cross-functional teams.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or another relevant field, or possess equivalent experience.
• You have significant experience (minimum of 8 years) in Quality Assurance and Project Management within a manufacturing or highly regulated environment.
• You demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and change management skills.
• You have a solid understanding of quality standards and requirements, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• You possess excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SAP is considered an asset.
• You are recognized for your autonomy, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• You are fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
