Job summary

Bombardier in Canada is seeking a Senior Technologist, Engineering to provide technical assistance on Global Express and Challenger systems. The role focuses on reliability, problem solving, and coordinating with engineering and vendors.

Ideal candidates will have a college diploma or higher in aerospace engineering, strong knowledge of aircraft subsystems, and 5+ years of aerospace experience. Travel and cross‑functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Formal education in aircraft systems or engineering is required.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft subsystems and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Five years of aerospace experience preferred.
• Experience with Challenger CL6XX/3XX and Global Express is an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong English and French communication.
• Team player with customer focus and initiative.
• Passport holder with ability to travel on short notice.
• Ability to work in a Canada-based aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to Operators on assigned systems for the Global Express and Challenger aircraft.
• Monitor assigned systems reliability, recognize problems and propose corrective action for issues requiring technical solutions, taking into consideration financial impact for the customer and Bombardier.
• Support both internal and external customers (ex: engineering, vendors, etc.).
• Draft and keep various presentations on assigned items reliability.

What are your contributions to the team?

How to thrive in this role?

• College diploma in aircraft mechanics and/or electrical systems or university degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Good general knowledge of aircraft systems (landing gears, flight controls, hydraulic syst & doors)
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in aerospace.
• Experience on the Challengers (CL6XX & 3XX) and Global Express aircraft is a considerable asset.
• Computer skills & Knowledge of the Microsoft Office SuiteGood English and French communication skills.
• Must be a team player, customer focused and show initiative.
• Must have a valid passport and available to travel sometimes with short notice.
