Job summary

Bombardier in Canada is seeking a Technologist Sr, Engineering to join Aerospace Canada. Responsible for providing technical support to operators on complex aircraft systems, and contributing to reliability improvements on Global Express and Challenger platforms.

The role requires a college diploma or degree in engineering, at least five years in aerospace, and strong English/French communication. Travel may be required; you will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver

Qualifications

• College diploma in aircraft mechanics and/or electrical systems or university degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Good general knowledge of aircraft systems (landing gears, flight controls, hydraulic systems and doors).
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in aerospace.
• Experience on the Challengers (CL6XX & 3XX) and Global Express aircraft is a considerable asset.
• Computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good English and French communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to Operators on assigned systems for the Global Express and Challenger aircraft.
• Monitor assigned systems reliability, recognize problems and propose corrective action for issues requiring technical solutions, taking into consideration financial impact for the customer and Bombardier.
• Support both internal and external customers (ex: engineering, vendors, etc.).
• Draft and keep various presentations on assigned items reliability.
