Job Description

This is a Temporary Full-Time Opportunity

Duration: 12 Months

Type: Replacement

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures according to protocols
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment
  • Document procedures and results
  • Maintain high standards in imaging quality and patient care
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Assist in data processing, training, research, safety, and quality programs
  • Support patient care activities
  • Participate in research and safety initiatives, and develop imaging policies
  • Uphold hospital and departmental values and confidentiality
  • Perform cross-functional duties as assigned
  • Cover all shifts as needed

The role involves identifying and implementing safe practices to ensure exemplary care. The listed duties are indicative and not exhaustive.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized post-diploma MRI program
  • Registration with CMRITO
  • Five years’ experience in an academic hospital preferred
  • Cross-sectional Anatomy course completion
  • BCLS Level II certification
  • CAMRT registration preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with computers, preferably with Siemens platforms
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Professional behavior aligned with regulatory standards and hospital values
