Job Description

Position Type: Regular Full-Time

Department: Medical Imaging

Responsibilities:
  1. Greeting patients, verifying identity, and confirming exams/procedures.
  2. Communicating preparation instructions and scheduling with patients and technologists.
  3. Reviewing patient history and blood work, addressing discrepancies, and reporting concerns.
  4. Data entry and documentation of patient procedures.
  5. Screening and safety checks for MR/CT procedures, including pre-exam assessments.
  6. Confirming lab results (e.g., creatine levels) prior to exams.
  7. Assisting with patient positioning, transfer, and equipment setup.
  8. Managing supplies, cleaning equipment, and maintaining the imaging rooms.
  9. Supporting MRI safety protocols and zones.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Experience with medical imaging workflows and information systems.
  • Proficient computer skills and excellent keyboarding abilities preferred.
  • Professionalism, initiative, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to patient care, safety, and continuous learning.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
