Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, QC, is seeking a Technician, temporary evening quality control attendant to support our quality team. You will perform laboratory analyses, enter results in the system, and respond to anomalies during the evening shift from 3:00 p.m.

to 11:30 p.m. Under supervision, you will ensure standards are met, make decisions when production is out of spec, and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Secondary 5 diploma or equivalent.
• Manual dexterity, thoroughness and precision in his work.
• Good visual acuity and good physical condition.
• Interpersonal skills, diplomacy and team spirit.
• Ability to quickly make certain decisions; autonomous.
• Knowledge of computers, laboratory work and English would be assets.

Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory analyses.
• Enter the results into the computer system.
• Notify the immediate quality control supervisor when there are anomalies.
• Perform manual stripping and evaluation of seams (manual and computer).
• Make the necessary decisions when production is out of standard.
• Perform any other tasks requested by your supervisor.

Time: Monday to Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Salary: $24.27 / hour + $1.35 evening bonus
