Nortera Foods Inc. is seeking an Evening Packaging Supervisor to oversee floor operations at the Bedford factory in Estrie. The role focuses on maintaining and improving packaging performance, coordinating workforce planning, and updating department procedures to meet KPIs.

The ideal candidate has a DEC in operations management or equivalent experience, 3–5 years in a similar role, and strong proficiency with Office tools. Health and safety and quality are emphasized in daily tasks.

• Collaborate with QA and OHS to monitor action plans maintaining production, safety, and quality procedures.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the holder of this position must collaborate with the various stakeholders to ensure that all of the department's operations meet the performance indicators. Its objective is to maintain, propose and implement tools to improve performance from floor to packaging. He coordinates workforce planning and updating department procedures.

THE ROLE:

• Participate and lead daily and/or weekly production meetings with the teams in charge of floor operations (DMS);
• Updates and maintains the efficiency and productivity indicators of the packaging department on a daily basis;
• Support the implementation of the LEAN program in the packaging department;
• Analyze the causes of deviations, problems and propose corrective actions to establish an improvement action plan in collaboration with the director
• Work in collaboration with the various QA and OHS departments to ensure monitoring of action plans in order to maintain/implement production, safety, quality (Datahex) and health procedures. Propose updates with a view to improving them;
  

PROFILE:

• 3 to 5 years in a similar position;
• DEC in operations management or experience considered sufficient;
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Have autonomy and a sense of initiative
• Be concerned about health and safety at work and Quality;
