Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu is seeking an Evening sterilization operator to oversee the cooking equipment on the evening shift. You will monitor cooking and cooling stages, complete logs, and document any deviations during sterilization.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. schedule Monday to Friday, with overtime potential and benefits such as group insurance and RRSP matching.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control cooking and cooling progress of the products.
• Complete the cooking log.
• Record deviations and anomalies observed during sterilization.
• Ensure correct chemical dosing in the cooling water.

Reporting to the production foreman, the incumbent will be responsible for the proper functioning of the cooking equipment on the evening shift at our Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu factory.

YOUR DAILY ROLE:

• Monitor and control the progress of the cooking and cooling stages of the products;
• Complete a cooking log;
• Document specific situations that occurred during sterilization (e.g. deviations) and any other anomalies;
• Ensure the correct dosage of chemicals in the cooling water;

YOUR PROFILE:

• No education and experience required;
• Ability to remain standing for a long time;
• Ability to work with computers or automatons;
