Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. is seeking a labeling department operator in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. The role reports to the foreman of labeling and operates depalletizers, case packers, stackers, and barcode equipment to ensure accurate product labeling.

Work is Monday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with weekly salary payments and overtime opportunities. The company offers extensive benefits and tuition support as part of a growing organization.

• Good physical strength to lift loads of 52 lbs.
• Ability to communicate easily and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks of the position to which the employee is assigned.
• When changing the product to be labeled or the date, make sure not to mix two different products.
• Make a daily report to the foreman and report the various follow-ups.
• Notify your immediate supervisor and mechanic of equipment anomalies.
• Do the independent maintenance tour of the line.

Reporting to the foreman of the labeling department, the incumbent operates various equipment in the department such as the depalletizer, case packer, stacker and bar codes.
