Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. is seeking a Temporary Evening Hairdresser Operator in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, QC. You will move products and boxes using a forklift during the evening shift (Mon-Thu, 4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.), with a hourly wage of $22.67 plus a $1.35 evening bonus ($24.02/hour) and weekly pay.

Start as soon as possible. Responsibilities include stacking checks, removing damaged or unlabeled items, setting up pallets, verifying production codes, and avoiding product mix-ups during labeling.

• Ability to communicate easily and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Move products and boxes using a forklift.
• Check that the boxes are not blocked in the stacker and unblock them if necessary.
• Remove unpackaged or poorly packaged boxes and unlabeled and/or dented cans.
• Make the pallet setups according to the labeling schedule.
• Check production codes and dates for each customer.
• When changing the product to be labeled or the date, make sure not to mix two different products.

Salary: $22.67 / hour + $1.35 evening bonus = $24.02 per hour

Reporting to the foreman of the receiving and shipping department, the incumbent will be responsible for moving products and boxes using a forklift.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check that the boxes are not blocked in the stacker and unblock them if necessary;
• Remove unpackaged or poorly packaged boxes and unlabeled and/or dented canes;
• Make the piler setups according to the labeling schedule;
• Check production codes and dates for each customer;
• When changing the product to be labeled or the date, make sure not to mix two (2) different products
