Job description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Component Verification Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-voltage and high-power electrical experiments, supporting and coordinating the assembly and testing of various boards, and managing laboratory setups and safety requirements. This role involves collaborating closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure our GaN Power components meet the highest quality and performance standards. If interested apply today!   • High-Voltage and High-Power Testing : Perform high-voltage and high-power electrical experiments according to given procedures or under the supervision of component verification engineers
  • Board Assembly and Testing : Support and coordinate the assembly and testing of various boards
  • Laboratory Setup and Teardown : Set up and dismantle test equipment and laboratory setups for experiments
  • Documentation : Document, review, and report all test results accurately
  • Lab Safety and Maintenance : Manage lab safety requirements and maintain calibration and maintenance records
  • System Troubleshooting : Support system troubleshooting, including soldering and desoldering components from PCB boards, such as resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets
  • Equipment Inspection : Inspect and test electronic equipment and components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, probes, and other electronic test instruments and tools
  • Inventory Oversight : Oversee lab inventory and contact suppliers to order equipment and components
  • Additional Duties : Perform other related work as assigned

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

  • Diploma or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the related field or training
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations and / or (as necessary) : 1. The individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods 2. Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
  • Proficient in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic test instruments
  • Skilled in troubleshooting electronic circuits and executing precise soldering tasks based on schematic diagrams and PCB layouts
  • Familiarity with component datasheets and specification documentation
  • Experience with high-voltage and high-power testing procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
