Job description

Bilingual (French/English) Service Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and service to our customer base across the GTA (rotating on-call schedule). You will perform installations, deinstallations, relocations, and corrective and preventative maintenance for complex printer solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on printer systems, including printers and pre/post equipment and software at customer sites and/or regions.
  • Maintain excellent customer satisfaction, build strong relationships, and meet Service Level Agreements to ensure compliance and customer retention.
  • Escalate unresolved issues following predefined service procedures and escalation processes.
  • Perform installations, deinstallations, and relocations at customer sites.
  • Obtain necessary training to stay current on all technical aspects of PPS systems.
  • Manage parts inventory, diagnostic tools, and physical tools efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Degree from an employee’s vocational or technical school in electrical or mechanical studies.
  • Mechanical aptitude and some technical service experience.
  • Strong analytical skills for equipment review, issue analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent project and process management skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with technical equipment operation.
  • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally outside the territory.
  • Ability to work on a rotating 24/7 schedule.
