BBA Consultants is seeking a Technician, Electrical and Instrumentation in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, QC, Canada. You will contribute to engineering phases through to client-site commissioning, selecting components and proposing solutions, with opportunities to program control systems.

Qualifications include a college diploma in industrial electronics, automation, instrumentation or robotics, plus advanced English and French. Travel to client sites is expected, and consulting experience is a plus.

• Experience in a consulting environment is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to engineering phases from concept to implementation.
• Prepare concepts, select technologies and propose solutions.
• Develop engineering deliverables and drawings; possibly program control systems.
• Perform studies and draft technical specifications and estimates (fabrication, construction, purchasing).
• Check installation and configuration of components on site (approx. 25% travel).

By joining our team as a technician, you'll contributeto various phases of engineering, right through to client site commissioning.You may be called upon to help carry out engineering, prepare concepts, selecttechnologies and propose solutions, from definition to implementation.

• Select electrical and control components for projects of all sizes
• Prepare technical data sheets, and size and select equipment and instruments
• Develop and prepare engineering deliverables and drawings and possibly even program control systems
