Job summary

Fiscal.ai is hiring a Technical Recruiter to lead the full recruiting lifecycle for engineering and AI roles. You will own sourcing, outreach, interviewing, offers, and onboarding handoff, reporting to CEO and CTO. This role emphasizes finding exceptional talent early and delivering a fast, rigorous candidate experience from our Toronto office.

You will build pipelines, partner with leaders, and shape how Fiscal.ai hires as we scale, including equity discussions and benefits alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience.
• Proven track record of sourcing and hiring software engineers and technical talent.
• Strong sourcing skills with comfort reaching passive candidates.
• Experience coordinating multiple searches with speed and quality.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruiting process for engineering, AI, machine learning, and data roles.
• Proactively source top technical talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, communities, events, and your network.
• Write compelling outreach and job descriptions that clearly communicate Fiscal.ai's mission and technical challenges.
• Conduct initial screens to assess technical background, motivation, and fit.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview plans, and evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate and run interview loops, gather feedback, and drive timely hiring decisions.
• Manage offers and closing conversations, including compensation and equity discussions.
• Deliver an excellent candidate experience at every stage of the process.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in our applicant tracking system and report recruiting metrics.
• Build long-term talent pipelines and employer brand within engineering and AI communities.
