Job summary

Fiscal.ai, based in Toronto, is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own the full recruiting cycle for engineering and AI roles. You will source, outreach, interview, close, and onboard talent, reporting to leadership and collaborating with hiring managers to define role success.

The role emphasizes finding exceptional engineers and AI talent, communicating Fiscal.ai's mission, and delivering a fast, rigorous, and candidate-friendly process. Toronto office required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience (in-house or agency).
• Proven track record hiring software engineers and technical talent.
• Strong sourcing skills, including passive candidates.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for engineering, AI, ML, and data roles.
• Source top technical talent via LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, events, and networks.
• Write compelling outreach and job descriptions communicating Fiscal.ai's mission.
• Conduct initial screens to assess technical background, motivation, and fit.
• Partner with managers to define requirements, interview plans, and criteria.
• Coordinate interview loops, gather feedback, and drive timely decisions.
• Manage offers and equity discussions, ensuring smooth closing.
• Deliver an excellent candidate experience at every stage.
• Maintain pipeline data in the ATS and report recruiting metrics.
• Build long-term talent pipelines and employer brand in engineering/AI.
